I'm still recovering from overworking my shoulder something like two months ago. That means I'm doing as much of the RecoveryRompwod as I can do without causing any further damage, and then having to take a few days off to recover.
I follow printed workout guides that I design for myself and set up using typst! I have written more about it here. It's a in-progress project and I expect I will continue to expound on the experience as time goes on.
I am trying something out this year, BINGO!
At two weeks into the second month of the year, I have 3 bingo squares filled in (if you count the center one), and am on track to complete each of the squares that are "complete x number of thing" before the end of the year. I'm delighted and surprised that at least numerically I'm on track to a possible full blackout bingo game. I do not expect to actually achieve one, but it's fun to imagine that I might.
Work on the library continues. The storage bench is installed, and now is storing some things. We are making a plan for v2 of the front panels, and have one top panel that needs work as well, but it's currently in a reasonably functional state.
Baseboards are painted! We're sooo close. We've borrowed both a brad nailer and a finish nailer, so we can compare the two and decide whether to purchase one of our own for further projects.
We've been spending most of the past month or so on a new project for #thisOldClownHouse, the #sunrisePottyDoor! My clown partner has already done a great write up on this project here.
I'm very excited, because we're very close to being able to start working on the collage part, though I've very much enjoyed doing gel printing while I've been limited by my injury.
I've been pondering whether I'm going to jump in on the bear blog carnival prompt for the month. As I'm not hosted on bear blog, I can't offically participate, but I'm thinking on the topic. We'll see if I pull together a writing on it.
I've been trying to strike a balance between keeping up with current events and not destroying my mental health.
.. As a trans person living in the USA, this has been a struggle.
Heck, as a person living in this country, that's a struggle.
